与女王见面，特朗普并没有选择传统的鞠躬礼节，而是选择了握手。

而梅拉妮娅，也没有行屈膝礼，同样选择了握手。

Donald Trump has sparked online criticism for his 'disrespectful' failure to follow royal protocol when he met the Queen on Friday.

The president was late for his first meeting the 92-year-old monarch who was waiting at Windsor Castle for between 12 and 15 minutes in the 80 degree F heat when he was late for their meeting on Friday.

The Queen can be seen in the footage checking her watch as she waited for the President and his First Lady.

And when the first couple's black Range Rover did finally pull up to Windsor Castle, Trump almost immediately breached rigid royal protocol.

The American leader and his wife both offered the Queen handshakes which sparked online commentators to ask why they did not curtsey to her as a mark of respect.

Bowing, for men, and curtsying, for women, are not mandatory when meeting a member of the royal family but is considered traditional and polite.

Video of the moment showed Trump turning his back on the monarch and marching ahead of her as they walked past the troops - in what was a serious breach of protocol.

The President looked out of step with the official choreography – causing the Queen to point tentatively and ask him to move to the left. However, Trump failed to pick up on the signal and instead came to an abrupt stop in front of her.

和女王轻轻地握手是可以的，但是别像他之前和其他人那么用力就行，握手时还要注意，应该是女王先伸手。

2011年，时任美国总统奥巴马及夫人与英国女王会面时也是如此。

Etiquette expert William Hanson said the US president should wait for Her Majesty to shake his hand, but is not required to bow.

'As an American citizen and head of state of the USA President Trump does not need to bow when he meets Her Majesty, although he can if he wanted to,' he said.

The president should give the Queen a light handshake, rather than the more vigorous handshakes he has become known for.

William explained: 'Royal handshakes should be only a few light pumps and as host Her Majesty should extend her hand first.'
