Hotwork Combustion Technology Ltd is a Sterling Industries PLC Group company based in the UK and we design and supply bespoke fuel efficient burners and combustion systems, based in particular on energy-efficient Recuperative and Regenerative Burners proven to provide fuel savings of up to 65% on high temperature applications.
 
We specialise in turnkey Kiln modernisation projects including burner refurbishment/replacement, full combustion and control system upgrades, refractory and steelwork modifications, with a particular emphasis on:
 
·         Safety upgrades to ensure compliance with combustion standards;
·         Fuel-efficiency by using proven energy-saving burner technologies and refractory designs, thus helping customers reduce their operational costs and carbon footprint;
·         Minimising emissions with the latest Low NOx burner designs;
·         Process improvements such as temperature uniformity .
·         Process flexibility to make Kilns more responsive to production demands;
·         Increased plant availability by using first-class, reliable and proven components and carrying a stock of commonly used spares.
 
To date, Hotwork Combustion Technology Ltd have had involvement mostly with the UK Ceramics Industry where we have successfully applied our highly energy efficient burners, combustion and control systems to reduce fuel consumption and optimise performance; however we are now looking to enter the Global ceramic market. To that end, we now have an office based in Shanghai, China, employing engineers with many years’ experience in the ceramics industry.
